Let’s get to the point, all in all, is it necessary or required to join Yoga Alliance? The simple answer is no. So, whether you’re looking to become a certified teacher, further your yoga postures knowledge past Vinyasa via continuing education, become a lead trainer for a meditation and asana certification program, or register your organization to hold yoga teacher certification courses, Yoga Alliance has a category of standards to fit you. Of course, Yoga Alliance has conjured up some standards that these programs must meet. This is in addition to 45 hours of teaching experience. Yoga Alliance requires 200 hours for basic teacher training registration.
